Benefits:

  • Helps to temporarily relieve symptoms of stress such as mental fatigue and sensation of weakness.
  • Contains adaptogenic herbs in combination with supporting vitamins and minerals.

How It Works:

The adrenal glands are responsible for secreting the stress hormones cortisol and adrenalin. Stress hormone levels rise when a person experiences stress and prepares the body for either a “flight or fight” response. These same hormones also happen to get us up in the morning to face the busy tasks of the day. But too much of a good thing — even cortisol and adrenalin — can be detrimental. The constant release of stress hormones can adversely affect energy levels, muscular strength, blood sugar levels, mood, sleep patterns, response to environmental stress, and cardiovascular and immune health. Modern lifestyle with chemical food additives, stimulants, caffeine, alcohol, electromagnetic fields (EMFs), work, traffic and family life can keep individuals in a constant state of stress, resulting in chronically high levels of stress hormone and adrenal gland exhaustion.
